Leo IV the Khazar, with Constantine VI, 775-780. Follis (Bronze, 24 mm, 4.88 g, 6 h), Constantinopolis. Crowned and draped figures of Leo IV and Constantine VI seated facing on ornamented double throne; between their heads, cross. Rev. Crowned equal sized busts of Leo III, bearded, on the left, and Constantine V, bearded, on the right, facing and wearing loros; between their heads, cross; all above a horizontal bar; below bar, large M between X and N; below M, A. DOC 6. SB 1587. Light deposits, otherwise, very fine.
